It all starts with your activity. RAKEZ offers a wide choice of activities and flexible packages; Dubai Silicon Oasis brings a Dubai address and a tech ecosystem. Your budget, the number of visas you need and your office requirements do the rest. We lay out the options side by side before any decision.
Can I live in Dubai with a RAKEZ company?
Yes. The residence visa obtained through your free zone company is a UAE visa: it lets you live in the emirate of your choice, Dubai included.
Do I need to be in the UAE to set up the company?
Most of the setup can be prepared remotely. You do need to be in the UAE for the visa: entry, medical test and Emirates ID biometrics.
How much does a company in the UAE cost?

Free zone or a company on the local market?
A free zone company suits most service, consulting, tech and international trading activities. If your business involves selling directly on the UAE local market or practising a regulated profession, another structure may be needed: we tell you from the first conversation.
Will my company be taxed?
The UAE applies corporate tax and VAT. A free zone company may benefit from a favourable regime on its qualifying income, subject to conditions. We arrange tax registration and the follow-up of filings with licensed professionals.
I already have a company in the UAE. Can you take over its follow-up?
Yes. Licence, visas, filings, shareholder changes or transfer: we review your file and take over your calendar. If deadlines have been missed, we identify them and coordinate their regularisation with licensed professionals.
How long does it take?
Once your file is complete, the licence is issued within a few days to a few weeks depending on the free zone. The bank account and visas then take longer: we give you a realistic timeline from the start.
